Uninstallation consequences

Before uninstalling the extension, you should be aware of the following:

  • Gumbamail will not be visible inside Gmail after uninstallation (on all of your Google accounts).
  • If you have an active account (especially one with a pricing plan assigned), you should cancel the account before uninstalling the extension. 
⚠️  BEAR IN MIND: It is important that you understand that uninstalling the extension does not equal canceling your account, as Gumbamail accounts are associated with a Gmail account and not directly to the browser. You can find more detailed information in the article about account activation.

Steps to uninstall the extension

If you are sure you do not want to use Gumbamail anymore with any account, follow the next steps:

  1. Look for the extension on the Chrome Web Store and click on the REMOVE FROM CHROME button.

  2. If Gmail is opened during the uninstallation, you should reload Gmail.
