Check the import progress of the list

Once you have created an empty list and you have added recipients, a new import process starts. It can take more or less time depending on the number of recipients and the number of merge tags imported. In this article, it is explained how to check the progress and the result of the last import done.

Check the last import progress

Once a new importation process started, you can click on the list row in order to access all the list information.

Then, you have to go to the LAST IMPORT tab, where a colored label with the status is displayed: Error, Completed, or In progress are the possible values.

In case that it is in progress, the percentage of completion will be displayed too.

If an  error is displayed, that is because of a fatal error preventing the import process from taking place. In that case, contact support, so that we can help you to properly build your list.

Check the last import result

In the LAST IMPORT tab, if the import has finished (reached the completed status) you will see some counters reflecting the import result. You can check how many new recipients have been added to the list, how many recipients were already included in the list (being updated or ignored if all the information is repeated), and how many recipients could not be imported because they contain some errors.

Sometimes, one recipient can be imported, but the value of some columns is not valid (according to the selected data type). In that case, it will not be possible to save the value for the specific column, so its value will be an empty string or 0, depending on the data type. This is treated as a warning.

In case that there are warnings associated with imported recipients, or there are some recipients who failed and could not be imported, you will be able to download a CSV file containing the list of detected warnings and errors.
